The Thermo Scientific Orion 4-Star Plus waterproof portable meter displays dual readings for pH and conductivity measurements plus temperature on the bright backlit LCD screen for more than 2,000 hours of continuous operation in fresh water analysis applications. Pre-programmed stability and averaging functions can be used to automatically compensate for measurement conditions and optimize meter response time. Up to 10 methods with individual password protection can be stored, displayed, and printed for easy retrieval of operation procedures. Up to 750 data points can be set by time, stability, or manual read with a time/date stamp. The meter performs advanced self-test and diagnostics routines. Updates for software and methods are available for download. The meter stores the calibration log for the last 10 procedures. Conductivity, total dissolved solids (TDS), salinity, and resistivity can be calibrated up to five points. Optional pH calibration is available from one to five points for a high level of accuracy, even for extreme concentrations. The Orion 4-Star Plus portable pH/conductivity meter housing is rated to IP 67 level of protection against dust and short periods of immersion in water. Meter inputs include an 8-Pin Mini-DIN (Deutsches Institut für Normung) locking connector for the conductivity or Automatic Temperature Compensation (ATC) probe, and a waterproof Bayonet Neill-Concelman (BNC) connector for the pH or ORP (oxidation reduction potential) electrode. Outputs include a bidirectional RS-232 cable, stereo jack, and optional USB interface cable. This biological microscope enhances object or image resolution, and is commonly used for education and professional applications in medical and veterinary clinics, universities and industrial laboratories. This microscope features a trinocular viewing configuration with binocular (two) heads to ease eye strain and provide a more comprehensive view, and a third head to connect to an external monitor for an alternative viewing option. The binocular heads are inclined for comfort, and rotate 360 degrees on two axes. The objectives have achromatic lenses to correct for color aberrations.
